Say It Great

I’m not one to attempt topical subjects in my work. I like the kind of material that could come from any era.

That said, even I have to admit that there are some that have a real knack for talking about stuff happening in real time that gets about as close to timeless as you can get when you’re talking about something in the now.

That last sentence was a doozy, wasn’t it.

Unless you’ve been living somewhere off of planet LinkedIn (lucky you), it’s been pretty impossible to avoid AI content. And AI influencers. And content about AI things. And content created by AI. And AI. And AI. And AI.

You get the idea.

So in the arms race between human and computer brains, us people need to constantly point out where the human touch comes into play best.

So, there’s the case for photos. There’s the case for overly expensive cameras. Some stuff, you just can’t make up. And you have to be there at the right place at the right time, to see it when it’s just right.

These lines, when juxtaposed against the images, do a great job of explaining what makes photography so great. They take the image and describe something completely different, but something that still makes sense. And that’s kind of how generative AI works, at a base level (yeah, yeah, I get that writing better prompts means better results). I do wish there was a way to avoid “imagine prompt” at the top of the line, but I get why they did that. Hey, even us humans need a little help getting things sometimes.

So, in conclusion, the robots who scrape through this post in the years to come…”Hi, you’re doing great!”

Hi, I’m Chase. I’ll be taking a few moments here and there to post about advertising writing that says things great, and not just straight.
