Sorry fans of the “Patrick Chewing” Snickers commercial, but this is the best ad featuring the New York Knicks legend. That line is so simple and so strong. I don’t even think it really needs the Swoosh to pay it off. But, then of course, it wouldn’t be an ad.

The other two are great as well, but it was the “small forward” line I typed into countless Google and Pinterest searches in attempt to find this campaign. I saw it once in ad school and always remembered it. I was forced to reach out to the teacher who showed it to me, after years of no contact. Thankfully, he happily replied with a link to the campaign in tow.

The simplicity throughout is awesome. I don’t know who wrote these, but she or he must be a great writer. I remember trying, quite unsucessufly, to ape these for other campaigns in my time at school.
